Orders & returns
Once you have confirmed your order, you will receive two e-mails:
The first e-mail will be sent immediately to the e-mail address you provided during checkout, to confirm the order. This e-mail will contain your order number. You will need this number to track your order online or to make a return or exchange at a later date.
- The second e-mail will be sent once the order has been processed and shipped from our distribution center. This e-mail will contain the FedEx tracking number for your purchase.
Need to return your boots? We offer free returns on U.S. orders over $75 within 30 days of purchase. Products must be in new, unused condition with proof of purchase. For warranty claims or returns beyond 30 days, please contact us for assistance.
Shipping Methods
We understand that getting your items quickly is important to you, so we make every effort to process your order quickly. When you order online you can expect your order to ship within 1-2 business days!
We offer free delivery on orders of $75 or more shipping within the contiguous U.S.
Orders shipping to Alaska or Hawaii do not qualify for standard free shipping. Available shipping options for these regions are:
USPS:
- $15 flat fee per item for orders $75 or more
- $22.50 flat fee per item for orders under $75
FedEx 2-Day:
- $35 flat fee per item for orders $75 or more
- $42.50 flat fee per item for orders under $75
Expedited delivery is available on select web orders placed on regular business days before 2 PM EST.
Orders placed after this time, on weekends, or on holidays will be processed the next business day.
We now offer FedEx HAL for contiguous U.S. orders for our customers who would like to have their shipments held at an authorized FedEx Hold Location. You may select this option at checkout.
WARRANTY
Rocky Brands, Inc. ("Rocky") offers a 1-year limited warranty to the original end-user purchaser for all Rocky®-brand products ("Product(s)") in normal use against any manufacturing flaw(s), defective materials and workmanship.
This warranty also covers Gore-Tex® bootie liners against leakage for 1 year. All boots with Rocky® VP waterproof construction are guaranteed waterproof for 1 year from date of purchase. All boots with Rocky® waterproof construction are guaranteed waterproof for 6 months from date of purchase. All warranty periods begin on the date of purchase. For purchasers in California, the warranty period begins on the date of purchase or the date of delivery of the Product (whichever is later). In the event of a defect, Rocky will replace the Product. If a Product has been discontinued and replacement is not possible, Rocky will provide an alternate replacement Product that is, in Rocky's discretion, of equivalent value.
Because Rocky cannot control the quality of Products sold by unauthorized sellers, this warranty applies only to Products that were purchased from Rocky or a Rocky authorized seller in the United States, unless otherwise prohibited by law. Rocky reserves the right to reject warranty claims for Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized Internet sites.This warranty does not cover damage due to: normal wear and tear, neglect or failure to adequately maintain and store the Product, holes worn in toes, burn marks, punctures, cuts, and abrasions from outside causes, alteration to the Product, repairs or modifications not performed by Rocky, inadequate or improper fit, accident, misuse and/or abuse by the wearer, act of God, fire or other hazard, tampering, or improper shipping and handling.
This warranty may be void if the user applies any materials not recommended, such as polishes, oils, or other chemicals or foreign substances that result in damage to the materials of the Product.
To make a warranty claim, please return the Product to the authorized seller from whom it was purchased. We expect our authorized sellers to handle and accept warranty claims in accordance with this warranty. If the Product was purchased directly from Rocky or if you are unable to resolve your claim with the authorized seller from whom the Product was purchased, please contact 1-866-442-4908 to make a warranty claim and obtain your return authorization number. You will be asked to provide proof of purchase and to return your Product to the authorized seller or to Rocky. Costs of shipping the Product to Rocky will be covered by Rocky. Costs of shipping the Product to an authorized seller will be handled in accordance with the authorized seller's return policy and may be the responsibility of the purchaser.
There are no warranties, express or implied, which extend beyond those stated herein. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE APPLICABLE TO PRODUCTS, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL ROCKY BE LIABLE FOR ANY OTHER LIABILITY OR OBLIGATION, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY LIABILITY OR OBLIGATION FOR DAMAGE, LOSS, OR INJURY (WHETHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, EXEMPLARY, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE DELIVERY, USE, OR PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT, BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR STRICT LIABILITY. FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT, IN NO EVENT WILL ROCKY'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE PRICE PAID BY THE CUSTOMER FOR THE PRODUCT IN QUESTION. NO EXTENSION OF THIS WARRANTY WILL BE BINDING UPON ROCKY UNLESS SET FORTH IN WRITING AND SIGNED BY A ROCKY AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE.
Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you.This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.

How Good is Our Grip? The SRA's, B's and C's of Slip Resistant Footwear. All XTRATUF footwear is slip tested using International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards for Personal Protective Equipment. Testing is performed on both the heel and forepart of the shoes' outsole, an established slip testing protocol, used and accepted in the footwear industry worldwide.
SRA Rating: All XTRATUF footwear is SRA rated for the grip you need on wet flooring surfaces.
SRB Rating: For greater slip resistance on smooth, wet and oily surfaces.
SRC Rating: SRA and SRB combined, for the highest slip resistance rating that can be achieved, giving you best in class traction.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer half sizes in most of our rubber boots and deck shoes. We recommend ordering up if you typically wear a half size. For example, if you usually wear a Men's size 10.5, we suggest ordering a Men's size 11. If you wear a size Women's 9.5, we recommend ordering a size 10.
We recommend our Legacy 2.0 Boots and Wheelhouse Ankle Deck Boots which offer a slightly wider fit.
Our Viral Penetration Resistant Footwear is independently tested and meets ASTM F1671 / F1671M - 13 standards. ASTM F1671 / F1671M - 13 is the Standard Test Method for Resistance of Materials Used in Protective Clothing to Penetration by Blood-Borne Pathogens using Phi-X174 Bacteriophage Penetration as a Test System. This collection of footwear can be easily sanitized, is bleach resistant and features a lugged outsole. In addition to being worn on the boat, they can be used at Decontamination Stations, for Janitorial work, for Industrial Cleaning, Labs, and other high-risk wearing occasions.
We intentionally apply oil to our Legacy Boots, it helps to keep the boots flexible, contributing to their comfort and suppleness. They can be wiped with a towel or left out of the box for a few days to dry.
BioLite is a low compression high performance injection molded EVA foam that is easy to clean, non-marking, delivers superior impact absorption and support. BioLite has been granted a Green Leaf certificate by Intertek, an accredited independent 3rd party testing facility, verifying that this product will properly biodegrade in bioreactor landfills.
How did we validate the biodegradability?
The Rocky Brands team worked with an accredited third party, Intertek, to validate the eco statements we are making regarding BioLite. Intertek's Green Leaf Mark identifies a product that has been independently verified by an accredited laboratory and found to conform to specified existing environmental standards and/or regulations. The standards tested to: Landfill biodegradation validated utilizing the ASTM D5511-18 test method, ISO 15985.
What is a bioreactor landfill?
A bioreactor landfill is one that recirculates their leachate, water that has percolated through a solid and leached out some of the compounds in the landfill. In the USA, as of 2020, there are around 1,090 or 1/3rd of the current active landfills that are bioreactor landfills that recirculate their leachate.
Will the BioLite products biodegrade in my closet over time?
Not unless you operate a bioreactor landfill in your closet! BioLite is designed to begin and only breakdown when in a bioreactor landfill.
Our signature triple dipping technique, creates a seamless barrier that is highly resistant to many organic and inorganic acids, chemicals and contaminants. We triple-dip the shells of our Legacy Boots for extra tough and 100% Waterproof protection.
