As brothers and lifelong fishermen on the Bering Sea, Chad and Craig Lowenberg of the F/V Arctic Lady know firsthand about the unimaginable danger of fishing on one of the roughest seas in the world. Total trust, inherent drive and a whole lot of guts is required.
Lionel first discovered a love for fishing while growing up in Alaska. He carried that same passion to Football, to serving in the US Army, and to MMA fighting. Now having proven to himself that he can take this on, Lionel is after something even bigger, making a positive impact in the fishing community and the youth of today.

Location: Halibut Cove, AK. Winter population: 15. This remote island is where Greg and Weatherly Bates chose to plant their family’s roots. Here these farmers of the sea harvest oysters, mussels and kelp. Mari-culture farming is hard work anywhere, but especially grueling in Alaska’s unforgiveable waters and wild tides, tough weather, and isolation from the rest of the world. For the Bates family, they are so confident in this life they have built.
